The AgriPreneur Project is a one of a kind full immersion entrepreneurial collaborative effort located at Delaware County FoodWorks+ focused on diversifying the agriculture market by helping our Catskills farmers & producers better connect with the increased interest in locally produced foods.

This program is funded by The Chobani Community Impact Fund at the
Community Foundation for South Central New York.

The AgriPreneur Project is a 14 week training for new or existing food entrepreneurs in a REAL-TIME entrepreneurial setting focusing on:

  • Entreprenurship

  • Business Plan Development

  • Financial Assistance & Insurance

  • Value-added Product Development

  • Kitchen Production

  • Branding + Marketing

  • Food Safety Certification

  • NYS Food Processing Regulation and Compliance

  • Packaging

  • Sales (Farmers Market, Direct, Distribution) + Sales Tools


Our collaborative partners include Delaware County IDA, SUNY Broome, SUNY Delhi, AgriForaging Food Safety, Catskills Regional Harvest, Delaware County FoodWorks+, BioTrax Laboratories, Blue Farm Designs, Delaware County Economic Development & Catskill Development Foundation.
